Worcester Radio Group – Berlin

Amateur radio is growingfaster than ever on Delmarva. With recent growth of interest in emergencypreparedness, many Delmarva residents wish to obtain an amateur radio license,but do not know where to start. The Worcester Radio Group is here tohelp. The Worcester Radio Group is a club of local amateur radio hobbyistsaffiliated with the American Radio Relay League (ARRL).
Getting a license is as easy as submittingapplicant information to the FCC, and passing a multiple-choice test consistingof 35 questions. The Worcester Radio Group now offers free testingsessions for the three levels of amateur license: Tech, General, and AmateurExtra. These sessions are held the first Wednesday of every month at 6pmon North Main Street in Berlin at the Berlin Volunteer Fireman Station 1 meetinghall. Anyone interested in taking the test mayattend.
