Callingyouth with a passion for health! The Wicomico County Health Department isrecruiting young people ages 11-18 for the Drug Action Response Team YouthCoalition (DART). DART’s mission is to address health issues that are importantto youth in Wicomico County, including drug and alcohol use, mental health,skills, as well as be able to express their creativity. Members will also earna $20 gift card of their choice for each meeting and activity they participate in.
DARTLeader Cynthia Shifler says, “DART is a youth-led and adult-guided coalitionhoping to make a difference in Wicomico County by providing education on health-relatedtopics. Youth members will get the opportunity to meet peers with similarinterests from across the country and learn skills that can help thecommunity.”
