RAL: Beginner Oil Painting Class – Rehoboth Beach

Local artist Barry Koplowitz is teaching a beginner oil painting class at the Rehoboth Art League to introduce new painters to art’s most known medium. This four-week course is set to take place on Mondays from July 8th to the 29th from 6:00-9:00pm on the RAL campus.
In this class, students will learn how oil paint works, when to use oil vs. thinner, how to layer paintings and the basics of glazing, toning, and mixing color. The instructor will provide the source photo and will work with each student individually and meet them at their current skill level.
“Beginner Oil Painting” with Barry Koplowitz is available for students at a beginner skill level, 16 years and older. The cost of the class is $195 for members or $230 for non-members. Visit rehobothartleague.org or call 302-227-8408 ex. 112 to register.
