RAL: “Beginner Oil or Acrylic Painting” – Rehoboth Beach

Have you ever wondered how oil and acrylic paint differ? Well, Barry Koplowitz is here to teach you how to use both mediums! Sign up for “Beginner Oil or Acrylic Painting” with Koplowitz on Monday afternoons from September 30 to October 21 from 1:00-4:30pm.
Koplowitz’s class will explore all the techniques that make oil and acrylic paint different and similar. Students will learn when to use medium vs. thinner, how to layer paintings and the basics of glazing (yes, you can glaze in acrylics), toning, and mixing color. The instructor will provide the source photos and will work with each student individually and meet them at their current skill level. While you will learn about both mediums, you will paint in only one.
“Beginner Oil or Acrylic Painting” with Barry Koplowitz is available for students at beginner skill level, 18 years and older. The cost of the class is $200 for members or $235 for non-members. Visit rehobothartleague.org or call 302-227-8408 ex.112 to register.
