PPP: Open Auditions “A Christmas Carol” – Georgetown

ANNOUNCE OPEN AUDITIONS
for their upcoming 2024 Holiday Production of John Jakes’ adaptation of the Charles Dickens Classic Tale “A CHRISTMAS CAROL”
Auditions will consist of cold readings from the script. (Click Here for script)
Please come knowing what parts you would like to read for. We will prioritize requests to read for specific characters.
NOTE: With special permission from the publisher, this show will be BLIND CAST in terms of Gender, Race and Age.
Anyone can be anything! Also with special permission, this production will be set in 1933 London, approximately 100 years after the original story’s setting.
Also note: Not every character has a side in which they appear.
Come prepared to do a British or transcontinental/mid-Atlantic accent.
We will decide on accents after we have our cast assembled.

Please be advised that if you are cast in a PPP production, you may be expected to alter your appearance by cutting, growing or dying your hair (including facial hair), as well as covering tattoos and piercings, so as to authentically represent your character and the time period in which the show takes place.
