Out Run Hunger 5k Run/Walk – Milford

The Food Bank of Delaware will hold its third annual Out Run Hunger 5k Run/Walk on Wednesday, June 26 at its new Milford facility.
Proceeds from the third annual event will benefit the Food Bank of Delaware’s hunger-relief operations in Kent and Sussex Counties. A recent study by Feeding America found that more than 57,000 residents of Kent and Sussex County are food insecure.
A post-race party will feature tie-dying, food prepared by the Food Bank’s culinary team, libations from EasySpeak Spirits and music.

Cost: $35
Amenities:T-shirts for the first 125 pre-registered participants. Complimentary cocktail ticket for those over 21. Chip timing provided by Fusion Racing. Awards presented to top finishers overall and in 10-year age brackets.
For every $1 raised, the Food Bank can provide three meals for neighbors in need.
