3rd Annual Shatter the Stigma Walk – Salisbury

Wicomico Goes Purple, Wor-Wic Community College,Walk Wicomico and the Wicomico County Health Department are excited to announcethe 3rd Annual Shatter the Stigma Walk which will be held on September 28,2024.  This free family friendly walkwill take place at Wor-Wic Community College in the Hazel Center Quad from9:30am-11:30am. This event will be held rain or shine.

This one mile, ADA friendly walkencourages people to start conversations and shatter the stigma of addiction,one step at a time so that people who need help can reach out for assistancewithout shame or guilt. Activities and resources will be available the day ofthe event and include a DJ, dancing, face painting, Cascading Carlos, Journeythe Therapy Pony, mascots, games, free snacks and giveaways plus much more.Free Naloxone training will also be offered at the event.
