Ellendale Voters Say Yes to Clean Water

Ellendale voters have said yes to clean water.  Voters in the proposed Ellendale water district approved a referendum – 81 to 21 on Saturday.  The results will be presented to the Sussex County Council on Tuesday, October 2 for certification and a formal resolution to adopt the district.  Once that is done, the county will begin to secure financing for the project.
