Ellendale Man Charged with 3rd Offense DUI

An Ellendale man was arrested for felony DUI Thursday night. Delaware State Police on patrol observed a Tahoe change lanes on Route 1 northbound near Milton without signaling and observed the vehicle crossing the white line multiple times. Police made a traffic stop and contacted the driver, 38 year old Matthew Gray of Ellendale. The trooper noticed signs of impairment and smelled alcohol and Gray refused to complete a field sobriety test. He was arrested and a computer check showed he had 2 prior DUI convictions.

Gray is charged with a 3^rd offense DUI and traffic offenses. He was released on his own recognizance.
