Electrical Malfunction Causes House Fire in Talbot County

A two-story single-family house on Willis St. in Cordova, Talbot County is damaged as a result of a fire that occurred yesterday evening. An electrical malfunction caused the blaze, which started in the second-floor bedroom, according to the Office of the Maryland State Fire Marshal. The fire caused an estimated $15,000 in structural damage. Estimated loss of contents is at $5,000. No one was hurt in the blaze.
