Electrical Fire Heavily Damages Dorchester Co. Home

An electrical fire caused heavy damage to a home in Dorchester County over the weekend.
According to the Maryland State Fire Marshal’s Office, the blaze broke out Sunday morning at the home on Beach Haven Road in East New Market. A family dog died in the fire, but no people were injured.
The electrical fire started in the kitchen. Damage is estimated at $180,000.
The Red Cross is assisting the displaced residents.
