Easton Carjacking & Shooting Suspect Arrested by Virginia State Police

Easton Police were called for a carjacking and shooting in the area of Lynnbrook Court. Police learned the suspect, 38 year old Tehron West and an adult victim were arguing when it turned into a fight. West got into one of the victim’s vehicles, showed a firearm and shot multiple rounds into another vehicle that the victim got into. A juvenile was standing between the two vehicles in harms way. West drove off, but was eventually stopped by Virginia State Police. West is awaiting extradition back to Talbot County on an arrest warrant listing the following charges:
- attempted 2nd degree murder (two counts)
- 1st degree assault (two counts)
- 2nd degree assault (two counts)
- reckless endangerment from a car (two counts)
- intoxicated endangerment (two counts) four
- firearms charges (four charges)
- unlawful taking of motor vehicle
- theft between $100 and under $1,500
