April 11, 2019
Legislation that would allow early voting in Delaware is on it’s way to Governor John Carney for his signature. HB 38 was passed in the State Senate with a 16 to 5 vote Thursday. The measure would allow Delawareans to vote up to 10 days ahead of Election Day, in person at one of 4 voting early locations across all three counties. Senators Bonini, Hocker, Lawson, Pettyjohn and Wilson voted against the measure. HB 38 was passed in the House with a 34 to 6 vote on March 19. The measure will go into effect when it is signed by the Governor.
