Early Morning Fire in Delmar Leaves 1 Dead

One person is dead after a fire in Delmar Friday morning. Delmar Firefighters were called just before 6am and found a house trailer on Carrolls Avenue fully involved in flames – the victim was found inside. State fire investigators are still searching for the cause and origin of the fire – damage is estimated at $10,000. The Division of Forensic Science will conduct an autopsy to determine the identity and cause of death of the victim. No other injuries were reported.
Firefighters from Laurel, Blades, Salisbury, Sharptown and Hebron along with medic units assisted or provided back-up.
