EARLY FRIDAY MORNING SALISBURY HOUSE FIRE – ACCIDENTAL

The Maryland State Fire Marshal says that a fire on Bryn Mawr Avenue in Salisbury early Friday morning was accidental.  The fire broke out in the attic of the single story home after an electrical problem and was discovered by a passerby just after 12:30 am.  Salisbury firefighters found flames through the roof when they arrived on the scene – they were assisted by crews from Hebron and Parsonsburg.  Damage is estimated at $100,000.  Three family members are being helped by the Red Cross.
