March 30, 2018
Delaware State Police patrolling the western portions of Sussex County meeting with community leaders to present their 2017 year in Review. Troop 5 Commander Captain Alice Brambley delivered the good news: last year robberies dropped 12%, burglaries were down 34%, and a 5% reduction in overall motor vehicle crashes. She credits the drops to exceptional work from the troopers on patrol, also noting that burglaries and robberies were about twice as likely to be solved in Western Sussex when compared with nationwide statistics.
