DSP Investigating Threatening Image on Social Media

Delaware State Police have been investigating a threatening image that was reported by both Cape Henlopen High School and Sussex Central High School. Staff from Cape contacted police Wednesday afternoon about the image on social media that showed a gun and a threat to the school. Officials at Sussex Central also contacted police about the same image.

State Police have learned the image has been circulating nationwide for several years and at this time there is no intelligence indicating the threat is credible. However, police add that does not mean the lack of a threat.
