DSP Investigating Shooting Incident at Ellendale Tavern

An investigation into an early morning shooting is underway in Ellendale.  Delaware State Police found a 38 year old male victim who was outside the Gateway Tavern on DuPont Boulevard who had been shot by an unknown person.  The victim was treated for non-life threatening injuries.  Police say that during a performance of several local rappers – several fights broke out inside the bar – and continued outside when several gunshots were heard.  The victim was located a short time later.  Police ask anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers.
