DSP Investigating Laurel Industrial Accident that Left 1 Man Dead

Delaware State Police are investigating an industrial accident that left an Easton man dead. Police say a dump truck struck a power line while unloading cargo on Jestice Farm Road near Laurel. After striking the power line it caught fire and fell to the ground. The operator, 30 year old Bryan Dukes got out of the truck and when he touched the back end of the truck – he was struck by electricity. Dukes was pronounced dead at Nanticoke Memorial Hospital.
