UPDATED: DSP Investigating Fatal Rehoboth Crash Friday Morning

UPDATED: Emergency personnel from Rehoboth Beach were called for a vehicle crash around 7:30 Friday morning on Oyster House Road. Fire and EMS found a car up against a fence in the parking lot of a business just off Coastal Highway – the victim was deceased. Delaware State Police say the driver, a 68 year old Lewes woman, left the southbound lanes and went into the northbound lanes crossing the Bay Vista Road intersection – striking the curb and several signs before leaving the roadway and ending up down a small embankment and hitting a small tree.
