DSP Investigating Attempted Robbery at Felton Valero Shore Stop

An attempted robbery at the Valero Shore Stop in Felton in under investigation by Delaware State Police. Police say just before 9 Tuesday morning a white male suspect entered the Shore Stop with a shirt wrapped around his head, pointed a knife at the clerk and ordered her to open the register. The clerk did not comply and the suspect tried to grab the register, but couldn’t and ran from the store. The victim was not harmed and nothing was taken. The suspect is white, about 6′ to 6′ 2” and about 210 to 250 pounds.
