UPDATED: DSP Say Long Neck Death a Murder
UPDATED – MON 10am – A death investigation at a home on Schooner Lane in the Rehoboth Shores development has been ruled a murder and today Delaware State Police have charged 30 year old George Bailey with 1st degree murder and theft of a motor vehicle. Saturday morning Delaware State Police went to the home to check on the welfare of the resident, 69 year old Lorraine Bradley who had not been heard from in about a week and her vehicle was missing from the home. Bradley was found dead in the home and an autopsy showed the cause of death was manual strangulation. The investigation led police to Bradley’s grandson, George Bailey, as the suspect. and was found at the Greenwood in and arrested without incident – he is being held in default of an over $1-million cash only bond.

Delaware State Police were called to check on the welfare of a resident at a home on Schooner Lane in Long Neck. When troopers arrived around 10:30 – they found a woman dead in the home. Police say there was no obvious sign of forced entry. The victim has been turned over to the Division of Forensic Science for autopsy to determine the cause and manner of death.
