Drugs Seized During Georgetown Traffic Stop

A traffic stop on Sunday morning on Route 113 south of Georgetown led to the arrest of a California man. Georgetown Police stopped 42 year old David Mao near Shortly Road just after 6am– a search of the vehicle turned up over 11 pounds of marijuana as well as 100 THC vape pen cartridges. Police have charged Mao with a variety of drug and traffic offenses – he’s being held in default of a $250,000 cash bond.
