Driver Charged With DUI After Crashing Into Pole

A 28-year-old Millsboro man is charged with DUI after crashing into a utility pole on John J. Williams Highway near Plaza Drive in the Long Neck area.
The accident occurred Saturday night. According to Delaware State Police, the driver was not hurt, but a Delaware Electric Cooperative pole was knocked down.
The Indian River Volunteer Company, paramedics, Delaware State Fire Police and other responded to the scene. The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
