Dover Woman Charged with 3rd Offense DUI

A Dover woman has been arrested for her 3rd offense DUI. Dover Police were called to the Kent Liquor Mart for a report of a drunk driver. They contacted 51 year old Karen Townsend who was in the driver’s seat of her vehicle. She refused to take field sobriety tests and a search warrant for a blood draw was obtained.
Townsend is charged with a 3rd offense DUI, driving while suspended/revoked and no insurance.
She was released after posting an over $2100 cash bond.
