Dover Police Searching for Home Intruder

Dover Police say they are investigating following a residential burglary that took place early Monday morning.

The incident happened around 12:29 a.m. at a residence in the 100 block of East Sheldrake Circle in Dover. A male resident returned to their home, noticing an unknown black male suspect in the stairwell a short time later. The suspect punched and kicked the victim before fleeing on foot. The victim sustained minor injuries but refused medical treatment.

Troopers describe the suspect as a black male, over 20 years old with an average build and wearing a t-shirt and shorts.
