Dover PD Arrest 1 – Looking for 2nd After West Reed Street Incident

Dover Police have arrested one man and are looking for a second after an incident Thursday evening on West Reed Street.  Police spotted 32 year old Abdul Tillery in a fight with another person.  They saw Tillery walk to a trash can and pick up an object and hide it in his sweatshirt.  Believing to be a firearm, police tried to contact Tillery who ran off on foot and tossed a loaded 9mm handgun over a fence – which was later recovered.  Tillery was arrested.  During the chase, 31 year old Adriene Stevenson of New Castle grabbed and shoved an officer trying to prevent Tillery’s arrest.  Stevenson was gone when police tried to locate him.  Stevenson is wanted for resisting arrest, offensive touching and hindering prosecution.  If you know where he is – contact Crime Stoppers.
