Dover Man Sentenced to 20 Years for Robbery & Home Invasion

A Dover man has pleaded guilty to 2 counts of 1st degree robbery, home invasion and other offenses after he and another man forced their way into a home at the Woodcrest Apartments in Dover last February. Two victims were forced to lie on the floor by 26 year old Mahdi Wilson and the other suspect while the apartment was ransacked. Wilson found a female victim was found in another room – and sexually assaulted her. Wilson is sentenced to 20 years in prison followed by home confinement or work release and probation. He must also register as a Tier 3 sex offender. The other suspect was never identified.
