Dover Man Arrested for Burglary

Sunday afternoon just before 4, Delaware State Police were called to North Little Creek Road in Dover for a burglary. Police learned that 32 year old Carlos Vazquez of Dover entered the home uninvited and took to the victim’s wallet – with personal identity card, debit card and cash, two cell phones and a pair of Apple AirPods. The 38 year old female victim’s son and daughter-in-law were in the home at the time and were able to identify Vazquez as a member of the community. The AirPods were later recovered at Vazquez’s residence.
Vazquez was arrested and charged with 1st degree burglary of an occupied dwelling and theft under $1500.
He’s being held at SCI in default of a $11,000 secured bond.
