Dover Man Arrested for Assaulting His Co-Worker

Delaware State Police have arrested a Dover man following an argument with his co-worker that turned violent.

Troopers say on Sunday, May 19 around 4:30 p.m. they were called to local hospital in reference to a victim who was being treated for a stab wound. Their investigation revealed the 58-year-old male victim was a contractor and received a call from a customer who was not satisfied. The victim proceeded to make contact with his co-worker, identified as 51-year-old Oscar Masias who had actually performed the work. The victim responded to Masias’s residence in the 200 block of Main Street in Little Creek, Dover where an argument ensued. Masais became enraged leading to a physical altercation in which the victim was stabbed. He received a non-life-threatening injury.

Masais was arrested without incident and charged with Possession of a Deadly Weapon During the Commission of a Felony and Second Degree Assault. He was arranged and released on 15,000 dollars unsecured bond.
