Dover Area Crash Leaves Motorcycle Operator Dead

A crash at Maple Dale and Kenton Roads near Dover has left a 37 year old Dover man dead. Delaware State Police say the Dover man was traveling northbound on a motorcycle on Kenton Road when the driver of a Fusion, who had stopped for the stop sign, then pulled onto Kenton Road and began turning left – colliding with the motorcycle. The motorcycle operator was taken to an area hospital where he died a short time later. The driver of the Fusion – a 22 year old man from California was treated for minor injuries. The investigation is continuing.
