DOC Have Arrested Offender Who Failed To Return From Work Pass

UPDATED 5/28/19 – Corrections officials have arrested an offender who failed to return from an autorized work pass on May 18th. Laurel Police apprehended 39 year old William Weatherspoon on Saturday. He is now being held at SCI on an escape after conviction warrant in default of a $10,000 cash bail. He has also obtained a new charge of criminal impersonation.

DOC officials are looking for an offender who failed to return to the Sussex Community Corrections Center in Georgetown from an authorized pass. Officials say 39 year old William Weatherspoon failed to return from an authorized work pass on Saturday, May 18th. Weatherspoon is black, 5′ 11″ and 265 pounds with brown eyes and black hair and tattoos on both arms and his left hand. He was at the SCCC for a violation of probation on an original charge of motor vehicle theft.
