DOC Graduates 230th CEIT Academy Class

Friday was graduation day for 33 men and women who graduated from the 230^th Correctional Employee Initial Training Academy of the Department of Correction.  The 11-week long training program focuses on professional development curriculum critical to developing the skills of correctional staff.  The graduates were joined by six K-9 officers and their animals who recently received their contraband certification through the US Police Canine Association.
