DNREC to hunters: Take your deer stands home

Hermann-Financial

With the 2017/2018 hunting season over, hunters are being reminded to remove their deer stands from Delaware State Parks.

DNREC Habitat Conservation and Management program manager Craig Rhoads says portable stands need to be taken down for safety reasons, and to help with wildlife management activities.

Rhoads warning hunters that any deer stands left in state parks past Thursday will officially become the property of DNREC鈥檚 Division of Fish and Wildlife.
