DNREC & Sea Tow Foundation Join in Life Jacket Loaner Program

Just in time for the holiday weekend and boating season – DNREC Fish & Wildlife Natural Resources Police and the Sea Tow Foundation have announced the Life Jacket Loaner Program for boaters operating in Delaware waters.  If boaters are found without legally-required life jackets, officers will have loaner life jackets in sizes infant to adult extra-large for the public to borrow and return.  Delaware law requires a properly-sized life jacket for each person onboard and all children 12 and younger on any vessel must wear a life jacket – as well as all operators and passengers of personal watercraft.
