Delmar Woman Charged with Assault after Argument Escalates

A Delmar woman has been charged with assault after an argument escalated.  Maryland State Police were called to Mar Lynn Driver just after 4 on Sunday for two people arguing in the street.  They found 41 year old James Russell standing next to a large pile of clothes, which his wife had run over several time with her car – trying to strike him as well.  A witness also said it looked like 41 year old Anissa Church-Russell tried to strike her husband.  She was arrested and charged with 1^st and 2^nd degree assault and other offenses.  Her husband was not injured.
