A Delmar, Maryland man has been found guilty of first degree burglary and multiple counts of assault after he broke into the home of an elderly woman earlier this year.
On Tuesday, 23-year-old Eric Frayne was found guilty of first degree burglary, two counts of first degree assault, and multiple firearm charges.
In April, prosecutors say Frayne burglarized a home in Delmar, Maryland while the owner was home.
Frayne used a handgun that he stole from the home and a glass mug to assault and injure the elderly woman who owned the home.
Sentencing has been postponed at this time to allow for the completion of a pre-sentence investigation.
