Delmar Man Charged with Thefts from Vehicles & Burglary
A Delmar man has been arrested for numerous thefts from vehicles and burglary. Delaware State Police were called to the area of Bi State Boulevard and Dorothy Road in Delmar on Thursday for thefts from vehicles and were able to get a description of the suspect – and while on patrol Troopers spotted a man who matched the description of the suspect walking in the area. They stopped 30 year old Jordan Dorman, who initially gave police a false name – numerous items – including cell phones, jewelry and a prescription bottle – were found in his possession, as well as drug paraphernalia. Dorman was also responsible for a burglary with another person where jewelry was taken – and pawned at a pawn shop in Seaford. Dorman is charged with 2nd degree burglary, theft and other offenses and is being held at SCI in default of bond.
