DelDOT Traffic Alert: Lane Closures Beginning Next Week at Seaford Bridge Due to Pile Jacketing Project

Lane closures at the bridge on Concord Pond Road over Concord Pond Spillway will go into effect next week due to a bridge deck overlay. Work for this particular activity will start on Monday, September 25th through Friday September 29th, weather pending.  According to DelDOT, the work will take place on the roadway across the bridge with traffic control. Motorists can expect lane closures with flaggers Monday through Friday 7am to 7pm. Paving, line striping, concrete repairs, sealing, and pile jacket installation will follow after the overlay.  Lane closures will resume Monday through Friday 9am to 4pm for those operations. Work at this location has been ongoing since August 2nd. DelDOT expects the project to be completed by October 31st, weather pending.
