DelDOT Hosts Virtual Hearing On Park Ave. Phase 2 Widening Project

Park Avenue / US Route 9 would be widened to accommodate turn lanes and shoulders, under a proposed project that’s being detailed during a virtual public workshop.
DelDOT is presenting the Park Avenue Relocation Phase Two workshop today (Wednesday) between 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.

Park Avenue would be widened between west of Cedar Lane and Route 9 near Georgetown. The project also would widen Lewes-Georgetown Highway and Shingle Point Road.
This is part of ongoing improvements to improve traffic flow and safety on the Route 9 truck bypass from east of Georgetown to Route 113.
