Delaware Looking to Change Senior School Tax Credit
April 1, 2017
A measure is before the Delaware State House that would amend the senior school tax credit. House Bill 99 would require any resident age of 65 or older from claiming a tax credit against school taxes until they have been a resident of Delaware for at least 10 years – rather than the current 3-years. The change will be effective for tax and fiscal years after January 1, 2017. The bill is in the House Education committee.
