Del. House District Maps Released
New proposed maps for Delaware’s 41 State House districts have been released. The maps are redrawn every ten years following the Census.
House leaders said Wednesday that numerous requirements were followed to get to this point: each district should be relatively similar in population and be contiguous while observing natural or political boundaries.
The House has scheduled a hearing on redistricting for next Monday at 6:00 p.m. It will be available virtually as well as open to the public at Legislative Hall in Dover. Space will be limited and masks will be required.

Legislative leaders will introduce the final maps as a Senate bill at the end of October. One bill will be introduced setting the boundaries for all 62 districts. The General Assembly will convene for a special session Monday November 1st to consider the final redistricting bill.
