Del. Electric Co-op Beat The Peak Alert, Thur. Aug. 12th

Delaware Electric Cooperative has issued a Beat The Peak Alert for this afternoon between 3:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m.
Temperatures are expected to be warmer which will have people turning their AC during this peak time – when the co-op would be purchasing more expensive energy. You can help Beat the Peak by delaying the use of dishwashers, washing machines and clothes dryers and hot water heaters, turning off unnecessary lights and raising your thermostat by 3 degrees.
