UPDATED: Death Investigation at Indian River Inlet

UPDATED 2:18pm – Delaware State Police report that a man intentionally jumped from the Indian River Inlet Bridge and was later found dead in the water. Because it appears to be a suicide, no additional information will be released.

Delaware State Police confirm to the Talk of Delmarva that there is a death investigation going on at the Indian River Inlet. Multiple fire companies were called just after 10:30 this morning for a water rescue in the area of Indian River Marina. The search was terminated just after noon.
Delaware State Police are investigating.
