Deadline to File as Candidate in Blades Municipal Election is Friday, March 4
There are three seats up for election on the Blades Town Council. Candidates wishing to run must file a letter of intent with the Town Administrator by the close of business on Friday, March 4 at 4:30pm.
The deadline to register to vote in the April 5th election is also 4:30pm on March 4th. All citizens who shall have attained the age of eighteen (18) years on the date of the Annual Election and be a citizen of the United States of America for a period of one (1) year and a citizen of the Town of Blades for a period of six (6) months preceding the date of the Annual Municipal Election shall be eligible to register and hold one (1) vote.
All citizens who have not voted in the last two (2) contested elections held by the Town must re-register to vote by the above stated date. Click here for more information
