DE Unemployment Rates Steady

The unemployment rate for Sussex County in May remained steady from April at 3.8% and the statewide rate remained steady from April at 3.9% while the national rate increased from 3.9% to 4% in May. The largest increases in over-the-year job growth since May of 2023 was in the Private Education and Health Services sector and in the Government sector.
