DE to Require Screening of New Business Entities
December 15, 2018
With the start of 2019, anyone who registers a new business in Delaware will be checked against a list of people and groups who are not allowed to do business in the U.S. 聽Delaware Secretary of state, Jeffrey Bullock says it’s a way to weed out bad actors who may be trying to set up shop in the first state. 聽A Delaware registered agent will be required to vet the identity of any potential customer seeking to form a Delaware entity such as an LLC and verify that customer’s name is not on the federal government’s blacklist.
