DE Flags to be Lowered to Honor Former First Lady of the United States Rosalynn Carter

Governor John Carney has ordered Delaware flags to be lowered to half-staff at all state facilities through sunset on Wednesday, November 29, 2023, to honor former First Lady of the United States Rosalynn Carter. Throughout her life in public service, she advocated for equal rights and opportunities for women, people with disabilities and advancements in mental health initiatives.
US flags were ordered to half-staff on Saturday by President Biden until sunset on Wednesday following her burial.
