DE Continues to Deal with Overdose Deaths

Police in Ocean View have dealt with at least three overdoses in the past several weeks.  At the end of June a man was found passed out on a beach outside of the Giants.  With multiple hits of Narcan he was revived.  Two men in their 20s were not as lucky.  When they missed work – a co-worker went looking for them – and looking through a window found them dead on the floor and called police.  Their bodies were sent to the Division of Forensic Science to determine the cause and manner of death.  According to DHSS, there have been 138 suspected overdose deaths in the state of Delaware this year.
