DART Beach Bus – Popular Way to Reach the DE Beach Towns

Ridership on the DART Beach Bus hit record highs over the Memorial Day weekend.  In its first week of operation officials say ridership increased 37% compared to 2018 with over 10,900 trips taken.  The 201-Red Line – which travels between the Lewes Transit Center, Rehoboth Park & Ride and Rehoboth Boardwalk contributed to 84% of the ridership increase.  Officials also say the use of the DART Pass mobile fare payment continues to increase, which makes for convenient and fast boarding.
